PD Dr. Manuel Sabeti, born in Vienna graduated from Maroltingergasse highschool, XVI of Vienna 1992. Then, he attended the Vienna Medical School and graduated in 1998. At the beginning of his studies he was already interested in scientific projects of the orthopaedic department with focus on sports. Surgical and traumatological expertise was acquired in Hallein (Salzburg) St. Josef Hospital and UKH Meidling (Vienna).

In March 2001 the residency at the orthopaedic department of the Vienna medical school was started. In 2005 he became specialist and sub specialized in 2008 in sports orthopaedics. Since August 2009 he is senior consultant and since September 2010 scientific head of the orthopaedic sports team. In 2010 he was the only Austrian to win the biennal GOTS Asia traveling fellowship. Dr. Manuel Sabeti is specialized in minimal invasive/ arthroscopic sports surgery.

In June 2011 he finished his habiliation with " Treatment options for the outlet impingement of the shoulder joint". 2012 he was leading the sport orthopaedic section of the Austrian Association for Orthopaedic Surgery.

In October 2014 he was announced associated professor of the Vienna Medical University. 

In August 2016 Assoc Prof PD Dr Manuel Sabeti finished his routine work at the Vienna Medical School, Dpt for Orthopedics.
His function in education and science is continued.

To date he held more than 150 presentation at national and international scientific meetings. He acquired the diploma for emergency medicine, sports medicine and three times the continuing educational program diploma of the Austria medical association.
